Construction Adjudication Prompt Payment Symposium Alberta

CALGARY, ALBERTA – ARCANA (AB) is proud to present the Construction Adjudication Prompt Payment Symposium in Calgary, Alberta, on April 20, 2023. This symposium is aimed at bringing together experts in construction law, dispute resolution, and the construction industry to discuss the latest developments in prompt payment and adjudication, including exploring best practices for its practical implementation.

The symposium will kick off with an introduction and welcome message from the moderator, Barrie Marshall, followed by keynote speaker Adrianna Worman, providing a warm welcome on behalf of the overall event chair. The symposium will feature multiple sessions on construction adjudication, including “ARCANA (AB) Formation & Mandate,” “Getting Ready for Adjudication – Lessons Learned: Ontario & International Perspectives,” “Alberta’s Prompt Payment and Construction Lien Act and Regulations” and “ARCANA (AB) Support on Practical Implementation of Adjudication – Procedures, Processes, Forms.”

The symposium will also feature updates on the latest federal developments and other provincial initiatives, with closing remarks by Adrianna Worman.
